How to make all teams have the same market size?

Im trying to figure out how to make all teams have the same salary limit that still allows just enough money so all big free agents are signed each year. Anyone figure this out yet?

In commissioner mode you can edit each team's market size via the front financial page for the team. That will equalize market size but the question of flattening finacials is a harder one that I'll leave for others.

Another thing that might help is setting 'National Media Contract Fixed' to yes. It defaults to No which means the media dollars are a function of market size. If you set it to Yes every team will get the same amount of media money.

This game is so configurable that you have to dig a little to get there.

From the OOTP menu at the top go to 'Game Setup'
Click on the 'League Setup' tab
Then click on 'Financials' on the menu bar under that.
In the lower left are some things you can play with.

You can also play with Typical Salaries there too.
