New to the game

As a new player I am looking for advise and potentially league members here on the forums.

Basically I am starting up a dynasty from scratch and was wondering if anyone could recommend some mods that are compatible with the new (Dec. 1) patch. Also I'm a little confused on where to extract the mods to after I download them. The stuff I'm looking for are updated rosters, Logos and Uniforms.

I'm gonna look into this more but if anyone can give me a quick answer or helpful links I'd appreciate that greatly.

does anyone ever respond to these things? (edit)

If you're on a PC this will help, if you're on a Mac, this will be useless (and I have no idea what to do with Macs)

I grab all my mods from Padresfans website here. As for where to extract the mods, it depends on the type of mod, but they are all in the OOTP Baseball 12 folder. The default for PC's is Documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP Baseball 12. Photo mods get extracted to the OOTP Baseball 12/photos folder, Facegen goes to OOTP Baseball 12/fg_files, team logos go to OOTP Baseball 12/logos, etc. It all makes sense given the file names.

Alternatively, open OOTP, start a game (any game) and go to Add-Ons Central. It's under the OOTP Menu, towards the bottom. There, select "Add Server" and add this URL: http://web.mac.com/sixwilsons/OOTPMods/Main.html

Then several mods will pop up in the Available Add Ons section. Just click download and then install (I think install pops up, but I'm not sure). This will install the mods to the proper areas, and they will take effect in all future games.
