Manager Mail Not Displaying Properly - Please Help
I did a quick search and couldn't find this problem on any of the posts in this forum. Sorry if this has been covered before and if so please point me in the right direction.
I am in the ASBA online league and I have been having some problems with my manager mail. A large majority of the manager mail shows up in my inbox, but it is not displayable. It shows up with a blank subject line and when I click on it it just shows the type of news it is and then the date everything else is a white blank and I can't read any of it. I included a picture of my problem below. If you have any suggestions or have seen this problem before, please help me out. I have until Monday to get this worked out, as that is when the next update in my league is. Thank you. |

Are you the commich or a league member?
If you are the commish I don't know what to tell you. If you are a member you probably had a download problem, see if your commish will get you a new full league file. I have had a bunch of email problems that went away with a new DL or a new league file. I am only a league member though, I know very little about how to fix things at the commish level.

I am a league member. I asked the commish what to do and he suggested downloading the new league file from the website and overwriting everything. Which I did, but it didn't fix the problem still can't read a majority of my mail.

Has this happened through multiple sims or just one?

As far as I can tell it started two sims ago, but i just thought deleting my messages would make it go away, but it didn't.

I am betting some files were screwed up in your download. I have had 5-6 problems with downloads in the past. Here is my recommendation.
1) Export and confirm with your commish that he has a good export from you. If not you need a full league file from him. 2) Do the next league up date. While doing it stick around and see if there are any problems. Does it hang at any point, does your modem show any interruptions, etc. Close other programs and don't surf. This is just to see if something is getting in the way. I had a really screwed up file a month ago and it was because my DSL stopped working for 20 seconds during the DL and some files were screwed up. 3) Check your game after the next update, it may solve the problem. 4) If the problem isn't solved get a full league file from your commish. I am assuming you know how to install a full file; it is just like the first file when you joined the league. That is the best that I have. My guess is there was a download problem and you have a corrupted file. It is far easier for me to just replace my league folder in my saved games folder than try to find and fix an isolated file. Ya just got a message from the developers. They said that it is something on the commish side of things that is causing this. He did not include all of the data txt files that are necessary for the reports to come up. So now just waiting on response from the league commish. Thanks for your help.
