Logo bug

After editing one of the preset leagues,(mexican league) the game will no longer load the logos I have set paths to within this league. The logos appear in the BNN pages, but not in the normal team pages or on top at the drop down tabs. What is going on here? I can reload them each time I start the game, but as soon as I save & exit, and then return, they are gone...I have worked very hard to get my international league perfect, and now it seems I can't have logos for this league. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Just a wild guess and you probably know this already, but there is a path and file name hierarchy when OOTP looks for logos. Like I said you may have done all this already so it's FWIW.

From the readme.txt.

Quote:
Whenever you create a league, each team get's team colors and logos assigned to it. We've added some little features which might be interesting for "modders":

The team logos will be searched in the folder /league-folder.lg/news/html/images first. It will be looked for a file named like Team_name_Nick_name*.png first, then Team_name_Nick_name*.jpg, then Nick_name*.png and Nick_name*.jpg. With reagards the Mac users it's important to use the same capitalization as in the game, since the Mac file system is case sensitive.
If no logo file is found, OOTP will search the file in the new folder /data/logos.
If there's no file too, OOTP will generate a fictional logo.

The * means that the file name only has to start with these names. It might contain more info. I.e. the team colors: background, text and secondary colors in RGB code. The file name might look like this:

Cannibals_204102050_210210001_sometext.png.

In this case, the background color will be R = 204, G = 102, B = 050 (RGB as in Red/Green/Blue is a color code used by many imaging programs). The text color will be R=210, G=210, B=001. And the "sometext" will just be ignored.

So now you can just put logo files into the /logos folder with the proper naming, and whenever a team gets the nickname "Cannibals", it will get this logo and colors.

Or you can name the logo file using the complete team name plus nickname and the same colors as the real team has, put it into that folder, and every time when you create a league with that team, it will automatically use the real logo and colors.

You can add up to 8 color codes to the file name:
- Team background color
- Team text color
- Team secondary color
- Ballcap main color
- Ballcap visor color
- Jersey main color
- Jersey secondary color
- Jersey pin stripes color

You can reload the logos from the teams options and ballparks screen. Just find the logo, select it and it will make all the logos required for the game.

Yes, I know, what I did was load the logos to the appropriate team. (rather than having the correct naming format for the files) it seems I've fixed it though. I had to delete the entire league, then recreate it in another universe, and them import it as a template into the universe I wanted it in...but still, there is a problem here

In the past i had a problem in two instances:

a) after editing a team name then after a restart the original logo was deleted and the game created a new logo

b) when the logo file was not 100% accurate (resolution, channels etc). Then i made a new .png file and the problem was solved.
