Perhaps you need to learn how to type what you're meaning is. I don't know how else one could read what you typed other than how SW read it. I'm not even the one that called you out on it, yet you want to direct your pathetic rebuttal towards me.

FTR, once I read the post SW quoted (I don't normally read what you post), I read it the same way that he did.

To refer to page 1: I really like the article! And all the reasons why he retires sound reasonably and perfectly planned to me. This is really the way how you should do it- if you know when there's the time to stop (btw. I laughed about the "opening a book store" part). I wonder what will happen in the future now though.

Ok, let's get back on topic please. I think both sides have had ample time to state their "case".

Thanks

fox News Chicago reported that the Cardinals asked Philly to talk to Ryne Sandberg.....I kinda like this just to stick it to the Cubs and the Cubs fired Quade today they are looking at Maddon among others.

Maddon possibly to the Cubs? Hmmm. That's interesting. Do the north siders have enough in the farm to compensate both Boston (for getting Theo Epstein) and Tampa Bay (Maddon is still under contract for the 2012 & 2013 seasons)? If the Cards aren't going to go with Oquendo then Sandberg sounds like a really good choice.

On a bit of a side, if the Cards were to get Sandberg, does he get his #23 from the "Freeze Man"?
