Help after signing someone....

So I'm new to this game. I just learned about it though the iootp for iPad.

Anyway here's my question. Im about 10 days into the 2011 season with the cubs. I made two offers on some MR on waivers that were accepted finally today.

So now I don't know how to start using these players. When I click on their profile and action, I can not under transaction put them on the secondary 40 man and I can't demote them to aaa.

Outside of this screen I can not fine these two guys. Is there something I missed how can I get these guys into my bull pen??

Thanks
Matt

It reads like they have been placed in your DFA (Designated for Assignment) list.
Go to Transactions tab, in one of the 4 boxes click the arrow and select DFA.
You can drag them to your 40 man roster from there.
You must have room for them on your 40 man and room for them on your 25 man roster.
If you are already at 40 then you need to cut or demote enough players off to clear up space for them.
This will involve cutting or waiving the players to remove from your 40 man.
It may involve Waivers to move players from Active (25 man) Roster to minors depending on Option Years remaining.
If you have any questions about how this functions feel free to ask, if you cannot get this to work just post the details of what you are doing and someone can help.
This took me a time or two to understand because I was not very familiar with OOTP’s implementation of MLB’s financial structure.
Good luck, this is a tremendous game.

There are a lot of little details. I am very grateful for the people in the online league I am in. They were/are very helpful with the game.
If you run into anything that does not make sense just post it. These boards are usually very informative.
