Is there a mod for retiring players?
I run a historical league and would like to import some Hall Of Famers to then retire, place in the HOF, and have their career stats show up on the Career Leaders board for my league.
Is there a mod out there that I can use to manually retire imported players or is there a way ingame I can do it? Any information or links would be helpful. Thanks |

If you give the imported player a career ending injury they will retire at the end of the season. This can be done by editing the player after you import him.

In most cases if you import the player just prior to hitting "proceed to next year" then they will retire. Whenever I was making the Top 25 career leaderboard/HOF files that was what I done and only 2 players out of all the players I imported didn't retire on their own. Al Spalding & Sandy Koufax both were somewhat young when their careers ended so you would have to give those 2 career ending injuries prior to proceeding to next season.
