Retired players missing?

Hi Folks,
I have just finished my 1st season of a fictional league where I have imported historical players for all 32 teams, 40 players per team. I cannot seem to find the list of players that retired during the off season. I mean the team major transactions page show who retired but when I go to Hostory-players-reitred players tab nothing shows up.
What am I missing?

Have you finished the off-season and moved to pre-season yet?

yes, I am at opening day now season 2
