I have 2 leagues with 2 divisions of 6 teams. I generated a schedule for the season and played it out without checking it. I ran well into october. By the time the playoffs were over it was november 3. I was doing the first phase of my spring cleaning' which takes place at the end of the season: releasing minor league players > 30 year old making > $100K. I do so by setting the contract to 1 year and releasing the player. In one case (not sure how) I got a message that -16K would be 'added' to me payroll expenses. I guess I got a rebate!
Something to do with the date, perhapse? -edit- actually, I only relase those that the computer has offered an extenion to. Since its the end of the season, releasing them is not necessary since I set their contract to 1 year. Anyway, the bug still applies. [ April 01, 2002: Message edited by: fluharty ]</p> |

Definitely something to do with the date... just need to to put in a check for negative values to fix it that's all.
