Feeder League Set Up

After reading through the very informative sticky on feeder leagues I successfully set some up to fill out the draft for my historical league.

I have read a number of posts indicating that if a player wants to put his or her historical rookies into the feeder leagues it must be done manually.

There are two settings in the feeder league set up menu that make me question this.

1. The check box for; Automatically Import Historical Player-Creation Modification.

2. The next line; Automatically Import Real Historical Rookies.

Does anyone know if checking these allows the game to import the historical rookies in a historical league into the feeder league(s) instead of directly into the free agent draft?

no settings will allow historical rookies to go to feeder teams you will always have to do it yourself

The setting Automatically Import Historical Player-Creation Modification is used to change player creation modifications from year to year for example increase created players power for the steriord era.

Automatically Import Real Historical Rookies will import historical rookies every year and put them on the teams they started with if you don't have a draft or put them into the draft if you have one.
The only way to put a historical rookie into a feeder team is doing it yourself, though be aware of age restrictions for the feeders and the age of the rookies your putting there.

Okay, that makes sense. I set the league up originally to import historical rookies. This was before I made the feeder leagues. I'll have to go back and make sure that is still in force.

Thanks once again for the info.
