I keep hoping with each update you guys are going to fix some of the most basic issues you have with the reality of the game.
Team GMs who draft 15+ catchers in the same draft, leaving the lowest minor leagues with incomplete rosters. This, combined with GMs who keep releasing much needed position players, makes it not worth my while to try to work up from Greenhorn Manager. Minor league pitchers who routinely throw 120-150 pitches per game. Changing stamina settings only seems to affect recovery and not in-game stamina depletion. Managers who rely on the same relief pitchers, regardless of IP, current hot/cold streaks, or recent poor performances. Minor league teams with fewer than 12 pitchers on the staff. |

He's talking about the minor league teams. AAA is usually good. AA is usually not bad either, really. The development leagues though (A and R leagues) tend to play with scraps for players.
I don't think that the "GMs who draft 15+ catchers in the same draft" is that much of a problem (the 15+ is obviously an exaggeration). I like that the AI tends to try to draft the best player available, regardless. That being said... in the later rounds the AI should probably add some weight to "completing their roster(s)". Late round draft picks willl hardly ever make it out of the minors regardless. Also, development leagues (especially the R leagues) should boot older players. If a player is over, say... 23 or 24 and can't make a non-Rookie league roster then they should be booted. 24 or 25 year olds with no potential should be easier to boot as well (they're sucking up playing time for those players who do have potential). Basically, just a little extra roster management at the MiLB level would help significantly. It's not a game stopper by any means, but it would certainly be a nice addition to the game to make the minors work better.
