Quick list from a rookie OOTP 12 user
Dear Reader,
I am new to OOTP and have spent maybe between 80 and 100 hours on the game, and I have a few suggestions. First off let me say the game is great and I'm getting the next version no matter what.
I hope you've enjoyed some of my recommendations. |

I agree with scouting and owner interaction. Not sure if you tried ootp 11 but the scouting was not in depth at all. They made a big leap forward this year and hopefully it will get expanded more.
The owner interaction was suppose to be in ootp12 but didn't make it in so hopefully it will be in 13. |

As long as you're able to ask the owner for good things like more money, the owner should also be able to butt in and make you do bad stuff or give you tougher missions in mid-season ("we spent tons of money on this guy and you put him in the minors, get him up and see what he can do", "This is the team's 100th anniversary and we want you to try to beat the club win record this year", "we need higher attendance, get some more popular players in there").
To be honest, the game can already be fairly easy for solo players - asking for more money in mid-season unbalances things in the wrong direction. |
