Is this possible?

I am in my 5th season of a career game and one of my favorite players came up in the draft (84). He never was a superstar but I would like to make him one. Is there an easy way to edit a player and their potential?

Thanks!

Yes.Go into commish mode, go to the player profile, then click editor, and make him into babe ruth.

Also, find an existing player that you want your draftee to essentially become. Then edit your draftee's potential ratings to equal the existing superstar's current ratings (or bump them up even more if you want). Just remember that your draftee may or may not reach his potential. I would wait to edit the ratings until after you have drafted him as the AI teams may pick him before you get a chance if his ratings have increased because of your edits.

you can just enter in stats in the editor, and press the "create potential ratings based on stats" button. its easier then looking for someone elses ratings.

True, but that is only for the offensive and pitching ratings. You still need to input speed, baserunning and fielding ratings, as well as the specific pitches and other pitching ratings.
