Hey Getch, wonderful mod for OOTP, my league thoroughly enjoys it and appreciates the work you put into it!

One question though, our Export Tracker doesn't seem to be working. It shows that none of our GMs have ever exported which is obviously wrong. I don't have any kind of "Admin" tab in the Export Tracker section so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do to update it. Could you please help?

That means the "Export directory on server" value in the main Admin tab (the one where you set up the csv location, etc.) is incorrect. If you cannot get it to work, PM me your export directory and I can tell you the correct value.

Don't forget to upgrade to the new version

I'm having issues with the all-star utility. When I enable with no batter/pitcher settings, it lists too many players. When I put any number as a minimum, zero players are displayed. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?

If the export tracker doesn't work, 99% of the time it means that the "Export directory on server" parameter in the main Admin screen is wrong. If you can't figure it out, PM me the location on the server that the exports are found and I can probably tell you what it should be.

Sorry, I totally missed your post. Zip up your csv files and send it to me and I'll see if I can reproduce. I did a quick test on one of my leagues and the ballot showed up fine.

Also, PM me your site with a commish's login credentials.

Live Sim - suggestions

1) anyway in the future we can get some type of timer so we can have games autorun. Maybe too difficult but it would be cool if we can schedule it to run the last sim each night at 9PM or Mon-Wed-Fri at 8PM..... So I don't need to be there to hit the button. This way I can advertise live simms Wed at 9PM and don't have to remember or be there at exactly 9PM to get it running.

2) Also maybe if we could pick how many game screen to show. An option to show 1,2, 3, or 4 games. I'm thinking of running a game of the week and would like 1 game running. Not a biggy though.

Love the utility- great work!

Yeah, I hope to make it a bit more automated. You'll still need to upload the game logs, but I'd let you set the start time, and also hopefully string up games sequentially (so after the games of the first day are done, the next day's games start up).

But, I probably won't get to that until I finish off a whole slate of other features.

If you only upload one game, only one game will be running (the other 3 games are set to None). Are you talking about resizing everything so there's no placeholder for the other 3 games? I probably can do that.

I was mainly talking about resizing or just having 1 window or two. Plus is there a way to see who in live sim watching. Unless they post a message I can't tell. Also maybe add a timestamp to the post so I know how old it is

Again - Great Job! I'm looking forward to see what other changes you make.

Automation would be great- I'm fine with loading the gamelogs. I'll been changing them out and only having a few selections.

We have the utilities installed for OOTP12 and when I use the game replay feature, a pop up window comes up with a diamond, however most of the other graphics don't seem to work. There is a linescore of zeroes at the top and if I click somewhere I get a zero on a line, then another, and another. Nothing like the picture of the example.

It's entirely possible I've missed a step, or that it's a Mac issue. Same behavior using Firefox or Safari.

I hunted down the OU version on your site. It is still 4.0.1. That version broke when I released 4.0.2 because I accidentally left a hardcoded reference to my site in the javascript. See:

Please upgrade to the latest (use the Patch link in my sig). Let me know if that clears up the issue.

Unless my wife goes into labor in the next 10 hours, the first release of the draft utility will be tonight or tomorrow . No history tab yet unfortunately, this was a lot of work.

I'll call this the beta release of the utility. We'll be running a real test in two different online leagues starting tomorrow to make sure there are no issues, so unless you are waiting on it, I'd hold out until I confirm there are no bugs.

I'll make an official post about it when I get it all packaged up and built.

OOTPOU 4.1 is released!

Edit: We hit a few issues in the draft in our league, so hold off on running the draft for now. You can upgrade if you want, of course. I'll get it fixed soon.

OK, 4.1.0a is released, which contains the fixes to the draft we found while running it in our leagues. Things look to be working very smoothly now. Probably shouldn't have released when I did, but with the baby, you know.. was a little rushed.

So, most everything was revamped in the draft. Most of the features are easily just shown in screenshots. Each screen in order:

Admin:



- Support for supplemental rounds
- Full support for inserting, deleting picks, etc.
- Auto pick if timer expires
- Customizable auto-pick AI
- New region to see who is auto-picking
- Draft timer supports down to minute scale
- Draft order is automatically populated from last year's results (not shown)
- Support for serpentine drafts (not shown)

Draft Screen:


- Faster UI/table (partial page rendering supported)
- Customizable columns
- Can view each player's details in-draft without going to an external page (not shown, similar to how development page and the draft selection page look)
- Just a helluva much better experience

Picks screen:


- Can view each player's details in-page (same as on draft page).
- Note that I added a tab to the player's page. You now can toggle between the development and the ratings for each players. This has also been added to the Development player details panel.

As stated, I plan on adding a history tab to view past drafts soon. And I will do a readme. And there are some other minor additions I will probably add as well. I'm not giving any timeline since, you know, we just had a baby and its the holiday season, but hopefully soon. Let me know if you have any questions/comments in the meantime.

A few notes about installing:
- Do NOT install while doing a draft. You have to wait until any draft is over.
- Do not forget to go to the Admin screen and click Generate UI Files after installing, to copy over the new icons and javascript.
- Make sure to clear your browser cache since there is updated javascript. If the Apply button doesn't seem to work, this is most likely the issue (you browser has the old jscript file cached still)

And lastly, my total donations for all of this work I've done is $0. Please keep me motivated. I'll need it with this new baby too .
