Poor draft classes

Hey community!

Looking for some help here or at least, some theories.

Im participating in a long lasting league which just converted from OOTP10 to OOTP12, though OOTP12 isnt the issue here and ill post this in the OOTP10 section too. Its a MLSB league which i believe is in its 16th season (2022).

Draft pools have been weaker and weaker for about 3-4 seasons now. Got a full-blown 2-pitch starters phenomenon going on. Top "starting" prospects have been created with only 2 pitches for the past 2-3 seasons and real talented starters are scarcely found. High-end hitting talent has been thinning...1st an 2nd round talent in our draft pools have little to do with what we had in the past.

Based and what i have heard before, this could be OOTP "correcting" the talent level in the league and editing the draft pool wouldnt be such a good idea.

Any thoughts?
