Problem with Personal Messages???

Anytime I click the envelope to read messages or receive a personal message, the entire game stops working and closes out. Has anyone else had this happen?

There are 2 different leagues that this is happening to me... It started sometime after getting OOTP 12, but I don't think it was right away.
