Would it be difficult to provide the option for customized player stats?
I'm just setting us some customized stat views for my batters/pitchers on the roster page, and while there are obviously plenty of options to choose from, there's always one or two that I'd like to add.
I just wonder how difficult it would be to have the option to calculate your own stat categories, using existing variables (ie, [(K/PA)*100], which I can then name K% for a pitcher)? Maybe I'm the only person who isn't satisfied with the hundreds of options already offered! |

Calculating K% for a pitcher, IMO, would be a redundant stat. K/9 will tell you pretty much the same thing. The stat would be far more useful for hitters.

Yeah, I have exported stats to Excel before, at the end of the season.
But it seems it'd be useful to have the option to calculate your own stats based on simply adding/subtracting/multiplying/etc existing ones and have them display in game. I was wondering how hard it would be to implement for future versions, rather than if it was possible to do it now. (I still think K/PA is a useful stat seperately of K/IP, but regarldess of what statistics we all prefer, it seems like this could be a useful option to have) |
