Error: No starting pitcher-game crashes

This error is causing the game to crash and I don't know how to fix it. I created a 24 team fictional league with 2 levels of minors and 3 feeder leagues. I also use custom playoffs for all levels. When I googled the issue nymets3000 stated on a thread "The rookie league had a scheduled All Star game for some reason, so I deleted the game and it worked." So i disabled all-star games for all levels except majors. The error message still comes up and the game crashes. I'm lost and need help.

Bump

I've had this same thing happen and would like to know if someone else has encountered this? Or knows what might be causing it?

i am on 11 and have not had this problem so i am gonna ramble..let's see if i can help ya. (also i might encounter this when i get around to buying 12)
1. what level does this occur at?
2. AI team or your team?
3. Does said team have the proper rotation?
4. Does turning on ghost players help or hurt?
5. does manually inserting any player help or hurt?
6. reg season game or all star game?
7. have you tried to play out the game in question yourself?

thats all i have for now.

Chicagofan76, Thanks for the ideas as to what may be causing this. After being up a bit later that I wanted to I did finally come across someone on a old OOTP '06 board that had the same problem:
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...her-found.html

After going through all 18 AI leagues in my game I finally found which one was having an All-Star game. Unfortunately I didn't know how to cancel the game so I deleted the league--one of the Venezuelan leagues you can add--and that seems to have solved the problem.

Glad you solved your problem, but did you try going to edit schedule for that league and manually delete the ASG?

I wasn't sure if you could edit a schedule for a season-in-progress, but I'll definitely keep that in mind for future reference. That way next time I won't have to delete the entire league because of one game.
