The Paramount Needs 2
![]() The Paramount Baseball League is entering the 2014 season after a little snag with the transfer to OOTP12. If your looking for a very fun, competitive league with lots of activity on the boards then look no further. The best way for me to show the dedication of the league is we had a few transitional errors to deal with and we had a setback that made us lose a month of action and we lost NOBODY. The St. Louis Cardinals owner left before the season ended (he also left another league so I'm assuming personal reasons) and the Oakland Athletics owner took over one of our expansion teams. We just held our expansion draft and welcomed the Carolina Warhounds and Portland Beavers to the Majors and we are just getting ready for Salary Arbitration and Free Agency. We will be using StatsLab this season for those who look forward to that. Also, we sim 3-4 days per week this season which is a slow pace from the every day sims we did last season but we are moving in a new direction with more articles, etc. If you have any questions please feel free to PM me.

A very active league, by far the most active league I've ever seen with regular 29 or 30 out of 30 GMs exporting and checking the forums daily. Highly recommended for active owners and these are the first vacancies in a very very long time which is another testament to the league and commish.

I just moved on from the Chicago White Sox to the Portland Beavers and I would love to get a competitive GM into Oakland. The former GM brought in some good players, he just ran into some tough luck - and he's now running Carolina. (Just don't finish behind my expansion club this season.)
This league doesn't have openings often and when it's running it has an aggressive sim schedule that really keeps everyone involved in the league, which is great. Now is a good chance to hop in. |

Last season we went at a very fast paced, the league as a group was excited to get to version 12 so after the All-Star Break we simmed every day which was a true testament to the dedication of this league. That being said, with 7 sims per week it was tough to keep up on the homepage.
The link to the homepage which is not updated is: Paramount The link to the forums where all the activity takes place is: Paramount Baseball Message Board - Home I think statslab & reports might be down right now as I took off everything to start fresh with version 12. Like I mentioned, we will be using StatsLab this season and the league can vouch for me on this as well but the reports are done nightly after each sim (even when we were doing 7 days a week they were never more than 1 day behind). With a slower, more normal pace this season, we fully expect the articles from the league to pick up this season and we have some very good writers so it should be exciting..

This league rocks!
If you want an idea of participation, there are 18,000 total posts on the boards in about a year. |

The PBL is easily the best league ever. Don't miss out on this chance to join now or it could be awhile before another team opens up.
