Do this bother anyone else?

Quite often in the off season, my roster will be under 25 especially with losing free agents and the hope of signing free agents. Then, the draft comes along. I do the draft for first year players and they are automatically place on major league roster until it reaches 25. The bothersome part is that I want all of them in go to the minor league roster. So when I drop those fy players to minors. They become unhappy.

Yeah, I have the same issue. Personally, I would prefer if all acquisitions were put on your minor league roster, no matter how they were obtained, trade, FA, draft, whatever. I have the same issue with trades I make. I'll trade a bench player for a guy with potential, and it automatically puts the young guy on the bench, then, even though he has no expectations, he gets pissed when I have to demote him.

This is my only complaint about the game. I agree with the above poster, all acquisitions should be placed on the minor league roster first

Yes, and there is a message after the trade that informs you that all the players received in the trade were moved to the minors, tho this is not true.

Haven't seen the message following a trade, though I have not made very many. I agree that a drafted/acquired player should go to the minors roster first and then allow the user to decide who gets placed onto the major league team.
