Success of ioopt

I really enjoy ioopt and i think others do who have purchased it. I know any time you do a product extension, ie, take your core product and develop it to appeal to another market segment, there are always risks. I was wondering from Palli, et. al., if they have been pleased with the acceptance of their new product and if it has met their expectations as a business venture. I know they can't divulge business info, don't want that, just curious if this, so far, is "working" for them?

I really hope that it is "working" for them. I enjoy getting my baseball fix while I am away from my computer. This is the best baseball game on the App Store and I personally can't wait to play in in HD on the iPad when it comes. I hope it sells well enough to have other editions, or at least a season update so you can buy the newest rosters.

I agree completely. It is the best app on the app store and the best value for $5. It is nice to be able to play baseball while away from the computer. As I said in an earlier post....I spent the past 4 days in the hospital. Each day my wife would bring me my iPhone and iPad so I could check emails and play baseball. Recently had a dentist appointment and actually played IOOTP in the waiting room. I know I have had some questions and even some criticisms but the bottom line is I enjoy having this available on my phone and am appreciative.

Questions and criticism are the two foundations of a democratic society, so don't apologize. If a company can't handle those two things (and OOTP has demonstrated that they CAN do so, quite well) then they don't deserve support, IMO.

So, keeping asking and providing feedback--it's how everything (not just our favorite baseball app) improves.

I say keep it up. Anything that helps spark positive debate/examination (which could lead to a tweaking of the game) is all good
