1 out away from a no-hitter!!!!

And then Willy ****** Aybar gets a hit. Still beat Boston 1-0 though. Playing as the 2011 Seattle Mariners. Erik Bedard's been much better than in real life.

Have any of you guys had no hitters thrown on games you've watched?
How frequent are no-hitters in the game as opposed to real life?

I've had plenty of no-hitters in my leagues. On average about one a season.

The only one that I have actually witnessed in the course of playing out a game was when Bartolo Colon of the 2005 Angels threw one. I have also seen about a half dozen 1 hitters.

Just last night I lost my no hitter on the 27th out, too. To Eric Young, Jr. who pinch hit a dribbler up the middle to ruin the no-no for Matt Harrison. Grrrrr.

I've never thrown a no-hitter, and once I came within 3 outs! I feel you're pain my friend, still a great performance regardless.

I still haven't gotten close to one in any version of OOTP. If I remember correctly the closest I have gotten is through 6.

Lol don't worry your Sox are in first place going into the last month and have the best record in baseball. Beckett's a favorite to win the Cy Young Award.

Not that that's a good thing from my perspective, I'm a Yankee fan.

In my modern MLB league Jonathan Neise through a no hitter against Roy Halladay and the Phillies. VERY next start for both pitchers was against each other again, Halladay threw a perfect game I'm playing as the Twins however so I didn't get to be apart of such fun.

I've never played a no hitter but I have had my pitchers throw them through sims.

I average two per season in my modern league. Off the top of my head, they've come from Felix Hernandez, Tim Lincecum, Jered Weaver, Tommy Hanson, Clayton Kershaw, and Mat Latos.

I've only had one in a game I've played. Max Scherzer against the Pirates. Two games later, Justin Verlander pitched against the Pirates and had 20 K's(!) in a 3 hit shutout.
