Inability for Commish to import files from server
Seems inexplicable, must be a bug, but tell me if I am overlooking something:
* Online league set up "old style" - no OOOL * Online league settings all test as working, reports upload properly, visible on site * GMs have set up their league files successfully, and have exported successfully * GMs have exported successfully, and I see their exports on the server But when I go to retrieve team exports from server, I get a message for each team "Error during download. Not found." The Check team exports link does not work either. I find this inexplicable. As best as I can see, the commish computer uses the same settings as the GMs do to locate the league exports folder on the server. I opened a ticket with tech support but was told to post here.

I have not encountered this problem. I am able to import team exports as the commish with old style league (non-OOOL). I hate to ask, but have you tested the setting for importing team exports in the online settings section? Could there be some typo or error in your settings there?

This function does not work from the commish portal. Neither the "retrieve team exports" tick-box nor the "check team exports" link will work. However, the Game setup=>online options=>Import all teams from server link DOES work.

One thing I did find and posted about yesterday was with a non-OOOL league, I found the game got confused regularly. It sounds like you use a slightly different method of getting exports (using the automator) or trying to get each team individually. Can you try the following for me? Go to commish portal, Click on "Check team exports" and then from that page, instead of loading individual exports, click the button to import all teams. Do you then get an error that you must login to the online league server first? If so, then this is the same bug I reported yesterday. I found a work around was to: Hit Game setup , then go back into Commish portal, and everything seems to work as it should at that point. Let me know if that works for you as well, or maybe you have a different bug that you found from what I had reported.

"Hit Game setup , then go back into Commish portal, and everything seems to work as it should at that point." ALMOST. Going into game setup is insufficient. I must go from game setup into online options. Only then will everything work properly. Note, also, that I do not have my game set up to log into OOOL automatically every time I open it.

Sounds like this is the same bug then, just a little more involved than I had found. Thanks! Edit: Just to note.. I found that if you grabbed exports, by hitting game setup -> online league options then back to the commish portal, that will work then, but then once you run the sim, it seems to encounter the same problem for me when I try to upload a league file, where I have to do that process over again.

I'm having this same issue. Import all teams simply does not work. It would be beneficial for this to get fixed.

I have the same problem, am thinking the bug could be related. I converted to OOOL, However due to some issue, my league file is not checking the OOOL server, it's just checking exports on my server as per usual, and it doesn't find them. |

Can you tell me what screen you are checking exports from within OOTP?
