Free Agency On and Off Switch

It would be so cool if an on and off switch for free agency (especially for pre-1975 play) could be added just like injuries and trades. Please see screenshot below.

How about an on/off for the designated hitter too so that we could utilize it in fictional leagues if we so choose? Thanks.
