June 25, 2004, Giants pitcher, Jason Schmidt, almost had my first no hitter. He went into the top of the 9th with no hits, and 2 walks when Oakland A's first basemen Hatteborg knocked a line drive single between 1st and 2nd. Schmidt, who normally can throw 110 pitches before becoming tired, had only thrown 95 pitches but was out of gas. I assume he was tired due to a 20 minute rain delay. Without the rain delay, I think he could have had his no hitter.

I just had a near no-hitter vs the Tigers! With two outs in the ninth, their left fielder Ike Brown hit a single down the left field line. Making a mental note to throw at him next game!!!

Wow nice job on two perfect games/no hitters!!! I have only been playing since ootp10 and I still haven't managed to grab me one of those. Also, was that center fielder Luke Skywalker? Haha

Yes Luke in CF Han at 2B Lando at 3B...I have 3 near no hitters this yr by 3 different SP Got into the 8th in 2 cases and 9th in teh 3rd just to fall short...the 9th inning guy had an epic fail and gave up 2 hits, a walk and a GS to lose the game.

Congratulations. I'm still working on my first no hitter. Came close a few times.

Late to this thread but congrats. Just noticed that the pitcher's game score was only a 93! What does it take to get those 7 extra points!

More strikeouts.

And: on a related note:

Meet the Mets
Greet the Mets
They came to the park and beat the Mets
Cover your head
Prepare for the cries
Guaranteed they can't hit for their lives
Cause the fielders are really dropping the ball
watchin' those pitchers losin' it all
reaking reaking
everybody hear the sound?
'cause the New York M-E-T-S Mets are goin' down!
