am I missing something, trying to replay 1965 and when I start it begins with a player draft, cant you just play 65' with the players already on correct team and with actual transactions? if so how do you set it up?

On the last screen during setup ("Let's play ball!") is an option "Inaugural Draft", make sure that is not selected (you don't see a ball on the left side of the button). It should be the default setting.

Then the roster have players on the teams they started the year. Real transaction will not happen (iOOTP is not a strict replay game) but you can disable trades if you want.

When iootp 12 comes out will 2011 be given out free or will you need to purchase?

When you start a game right now in Major League you start with the current season 2011. When you update next year the starting season will be 2012 and 2011 will disappear. That's what I mean.

Ah, thanks for clarification. We had no talks about the 2012 version so far but one way or another the 2011 season will be available in a new version.
