I will have to try that and see if it fixes the issue. Thank you.

I got the stars to show up with turning scouting off like you suggested. Thanks for the help.
I do have a few observations I wanted to share and a question as well. - There's a lot of really old guys in this league, it's kinda crazy. The career HR leader is still active at age 42 and 5*. I was like when I saw that.- The contracts are crazy due to the way you have your universe set up. I'm not complaining or anything, just making an observation. I keep seeing some of those deals and want to change the financial settings but I have to remind myself it's your universe and I should play the way you set it up otherwise I might as well just create my own. The question I have is, are the promotions and relegation's already done for the current season when you first start up the game? Or do we need to do that ourselves? |

So I have a very irritating situation going on in my game. The Bryankeld Panthers keep getting hit with the not enough active players situation you mentioned. I know you said just put an active player on their team and it will fix itself in a few days, except with them it didn't fix anything. I put a FA on their team and it fixed the problem for all of a few days. That was back in the off-season.
I'm currently at 6-27-11 and Bryankeld has 6 active players and 10 injured players. I've assigned like 4 FA's to their team since the start of the game and this is the 4th or 5th time I've had the issue happen already. They keep getting a bunch of injuries every few days or weeks and there's literally 3 FA's available who are all hurt. So I have to keep un-injuring guys on their team just so I can progress. I'm not sure if you've had this happen, but it's very frustrating.

![]() I agree the contracts are massive, but you will notice if you just play around with a team such as Megopolis or New Auckland that they will tend to talk to the same player which means they just keep topping each others offer until one team backs down. They were a lot worse in the early 90s when some players were earning $45m+ per year. And yes the current Promotions and Relegations are already done. That's really frustrating about the Bryankeld situation. It tends to happen very occasionally but if it gets too annoying for you to ignore then you can do one of two things. Firstly you can restrict both Second and Third Division team reserve rosters to 15 (like the Super League and First division has already in place) or, when the new free agents are created at the completion of the season you can generate about another 150 Free Agents. Do Player Type as Very young & raw and set the destination league as the Third Divison (just so they don't get generated with monster demands). My best solution is to limit reserve rosters for the Second and Third divisions to 15 players. You will probably have to restart the game in order to do this. It's not unusual to see the lower teams who are better off financially to horde players. In fact, I can see on my game that the Farming Falcons have 25 players on their active roster and 32 (!) on their reserve roster. Sorry to cause you problems, didn't realise the game started off with that error as I've only had it three or four times in the 110 year sim. |

No problem. I managed to get through the season. Just about to finish my first off-season and head into the pre-season and try my hand at the promotion and relegation. I will report back with how it goes.

I'll probably have to re-release the quickstart anyway once this patch comes out. It's going to tweak the Finances which could impact on the tight financial side of things.

Nope, the financials didn't change at all. I may re-release an updated version to fix the Bryankeld problem but if you have fixed it yourself then it doesn't really matter.

I thought I would share with you all the maps that I have made thus far of the Koana Islands. Whilst it has no real relevance to baseball I've had lots of PMs praising my work with a couple asking to see any more that I have made.

Nugget those maps are awesome. Do you ever have time to play OOTP?
.Last night I finally created a map for my new fictional universe, nothing even close to what you've done (I just stitched together sections of maps created in Greenfish Relief Map Generator), but I realize how creating even a global map for a fictional world really makes that world seem alive. I found myself this morning staring at my new map, and envisioning all ballplayers that'll play there.

Nugget,
Those maps are absolutely amazing. I linked to them on another forum I'm a member of and several of the members there who are fantasy cartographers were mightily impressed.

Wow, awesome, especially as I'm Swedish myself and recognise quite a few of the towns you did put in there (i.e. Ignaberga is a small village a couple of kilometres outside my hometown) and it's very well-made I must say. Big kudos to you for this great fictional world. The amount of time it must've took for you with all these small details...
![]() Also, while not related to this, how did you make the maps? By hand in Photoshop/something similar or with some map making software? I hope you understand my post, as I guess I'm one of the few non-Americans on this board. |

Thanks for the kind words.
I built the maps using Adobe Illustrator. Much blood, sweat and tears went into the making of the maps, believe me! |

I've now completed the map of Greater Megopolis which includes Jonestown and Black Island.
The stadiums of Jonestown Broncos (Kacy Park), Black Island Mercenaries (Black Sun Stadium), Megopolis Titans (Gothica Stadium), and the Downtown Metros (MegoRena) are all present. (again, click to enlarge the image): |

Hello Nugget,
I hope you are well. I have been searching for a program/software etc to use to make maps like your New Auckland map below. I wanted to find out what program you used to make this type of map. I looked at the Greenfish Relief Map Generator and downloaded it but couldn't find how I would be able to use it to make my own maps of cities, the roads, overpasses etc. Would you be able to help me so that I can make these type of maps too? I love the maps that I saw here. You have done an outstanding job! I thank you very much! Nick |
