Post Computer cheating (Part I)

Game between Atlanta (me, human) and Baltimore (computer), in a fictional league. Extra innings--running out of players. In the top of the 12th, Baltimore pinch hits for last non-starting pitcher, D. Lauer. But in the bottom of the 12th, who comes out to pitch again but Lauer!?!.

Fortunately, we (Atlanta) won. But the computer had no business doing this. We're languishing 13 games under .500. Okay, Baltimore is in a pennant race, and this cuts their lead to only one game; but, hey, our (Atlanta's) next series is with the second-place team, New York, and I have a mind to bench the regulars and lay down for a game or two!

Here is the box score:

Which version of 4.0b, it was released twice. This was a known bug with earlier versions of the game and occurred when the last computer pitcher was pinch hit for... I haven't seen this since the latest patch.

Wow! I guess it had slipped by me that there were two versions of the "b" patch (one dated March 15, the other dated March 16, right?) Anyhow, sure enough, the Readme file pegs this problem. Thanks! Not only is this game amazingly fun and ridiculously cheap, but the support is fantastic.
