Haven't played for awhile (got a new questions)

Hello,
I just got OOTP12. I haven't played for a bit and I want to set up a historical fiction league, but I have some questions about the setup first.

1) Will teams decide to relocate on their own or is that something only can be done by the commissioner?

2) I don't want to put players on their original teams will a historical league do that or do I set it up as a fictional league?

3) Will a historical league go through the different MLB era's automatically (Dead Ball, WW2, etc)?

4) Can I have players go off to war and miss MLB time?

I think that's all I have for now.

1)If your in a historical league and you have expansion toggled on yes. In fictional league you can do it manually or set "evolving league"

2)Create a historical league and make the changes under the "advanced" mode.

3) Yes.

4) Yes. "Players miss seasons according to history" option.

I think I have a few more questions about my questions. I want to create a historical league starting in 1871 (I think). I want to do expansion, but not necessarily historical expansion. So...can I do the following:

5) Manually expand the league and change the league structure

6) Have players miss time because of war?

7) Have players not come back from war?

8) Add minor leagues later in history?

Yes. Look in the options portion of the league creation.

5. yes, whenever you want and however many teams u want 2,4,6,8
6. For real players see Gambo's "players miss seasons according to history" for fictional players I just injure them during the war. Or you could retire them during the war. When they come back yu might want to edit their injury history ( i have yet to try this)
7. Retire them during the war, it's something i have planned in my fictional league.
8. yes I just added a AA for 2 of my leagues (they already had AAA)
