Create New Standard League odd number error

Just downloaded the game and tried to create new standard league and recvd odd number error. Not sure why this error occurred or how to resolve. This is "out of the box" and would not expect an error message here. Thank you in advance.

Issue was I had created a fictional league with 5/5/5 team structure in each league and that was causing the issue. All set thanks, but seems like that indicates 5/5/5 team structure as MLB is proposing could be a problem...

The game's schedule generator cannot create games for an odd-sized league. So you need an even number of teams to start up a league. However, once it's been created and you've generated a schedule, you can then move or delete teams to get to the odd number of teams desired.

However, you will then need a custom created schedule for that odd number alignment which you can then import (since the game's schedule genator can't do it). But if you have a custom schedule it'll work fine.
