My Two Cents
I just want my opinion to be known. I have played various baseball sim games both with the computer and with dice and cards. I find this game iootp and ootp very satisfying and most of all fun. We all want a game that is fairly accurate with statistics. This game is that. ootp has everything you could possible want in a sim and more. iootp is scaled down but still awesome.
One person says the year 65 is actually a year ahead. I disagree as the player ratings are based on the year stated but the stats are only up the previous year. That's because you are starting that year fresh.
Some people also state the stats don't come out the way they should but remember any little thing you change will change the next outcome. Is your lineup exactly as that teams lineup was during that game in real life? Did you pitch the same pitcher, pinch hit the same batter, steal the same base? Probably not. The ratings are excellent and remember it is a game, a simulation. If it was exactly the same as real life why play it?
Again thanks to palli and the iootp programming team to come up with this version. And palli thanks for allowing me on the beta team. I feel privileged to be a small part of the finished product.
Thanks again and keep up the great work.
I for one appreciate all you have done.
