ok, what did I do wrong?
Last year, I set up a historical league but with the players on different teams, I set the draft date for Dec 15th so that fictional players would not be generated. I imported that league into version 12 and now when
I checked the upcoming players for the draft, they are all fictional. ![]() So why did the rookies from last year IRL, not show up in the draft data base? The only thing i can think of is that I played thru Nov 9th, so is that it or will they show up later on ? Thanks for your help. |

In league setup, "Historical" tab, make sure you have checked the box for "Automatically Import Historical Rookies".

ok what did i do wrong
I checked that and it was marked to import them. After I checked again
though I realized that the draft was set for 12/1 and not 12/15 so I guess that's where i messed up. if there is no way to get the correct rookies into the game, is there some way to just set up a new league with the current roster I have and change the draft date to say 12/31? |

You can change your draft date during the off season in league setup.
However, the date you're using shouldn't matter, real players should still get imported. You might have to check to see if OOTP is pointed at the db correctly. Did you do a custom install, like maybe put OOTP on a different hard drive or different from the default settings? |
