If indeed the problem is with ethnicities set to zero, then I have triggered the problem and there is absolutely no way to fix it. I went into the nation editor and set the United States and all of its languages to zero, then added United States Historical and set that to 3000. If this is what is causing the bug, this is a major design flaw. One, there is no mention of not to set to zero, two, there is no way to remove the language, I do not want anything but my modded US Historical to be used, and three, there seems to be no way then to fix the problem. The League gets destroyed and there is nothing that can be done.

Probably a stupid question but when I install this patch, will it work (mainly the negotiations thing) for the franchise I already have going on?

![]() Edit: Important note: Sorry guys, there is a slight problem with scouting budgets in the roster set in the patch. You can fix this yourself by going to the league setup and then hit the button "Assign fictional financials to teams". This will apply proper scouting budgets and won't touch the real player salaries. I simply forgot to run this function before finalizing the roster set. Is this bug fixed, or do I need to hit the button "assign fictional financials to teams"?

My save game is corrupt after the patch
![]() The game crashes every time I try to resume a game. I was having issues with baserunners showing up at first base, so I saved mid-game and applied the patch. Is there any way to fix this? e.g. Delete the current game. EDIT: I went into the schedule creator and deleted and re-added the game. It seems to have fixed the problem. Note that you'll also have to manually change the starting pitcher's fatigue levels if you want the same guys to start. Last edited by chris686; 07-02-2011 at 05:45 PM. |

Can the following issue be patched for the next release. It's been brought up many times before:

Since we're talking a bit about bugs in the new release...
It looks like the Rule 5 eligibility bug that was fixed in the first patch has crept its way back in-- Mets farmhands Wilmer Flores and Eric Beaulac are the easy examples for me to point to (since I know the Mets farm system well). Both are erroneously eligible-- both have three years of experience. Flores shouldn't be eligible for two more seasons (he signed 18 or under), Beaulac should be eligible the following year (she signed at 21). |

One more... I noticed this previously as well.
It seems like most (all?) fictional players are created with Caucasian facial type regardless of country of birth. I noticed this first in the draft. This morning I had my scout find a prospect from Venezuela with an appropriate Hispanic name but with a Caucasian facial type (that said, he looks like an A list prospect!). |

Should be able to do a 3 League Setup meaning like I want to do a MLB League thats East as one League Central as other and West as the other.
Rule 5 Draft can be solved if you take over the Mets add those 2 to your what ever number Rosters like 40 or maybe 70 and then they can't be Drafted.

Funny thing though, for a farm system as derided as it is, they've produced a number of serviceable major leaguers in the past couple years. Must be the pretty girls on the teams in the minors. ;-)

Mets are Sad
Speaking of the Mets...
I'm NOT a Mets fan but I was sitting in the bar yesterday and the Yankees-Mets game was on...nuttin/nuttin 5th inning or so and I saw Angel Pagan get on, the 2B get a hit and then the bases were loaded with ONE out with the pitcher up to bat... Now even in the bush leagues you sacrifice the pitcher to get to your leadoff batter, right? Not the Mess!!! He swings with two strikes to 3B, who steps on third and throws to 1B to complete the double play....end of inning.... They go on (shock alert!!!) to lose the game 5-2. I grew up watching boneheaded plays like this from the Phillies, I'da thunk with the money the NY market makes the Amazin's would be contending by now, it's sad sad sad. |
