Hey guys! I need some help! I imported my historical league for ootp 11 to 12 with no problem! I started in 1871 and now am headed into the start of the 1919 season. Only thing is when I select a player all the player info is gone. So for example, I select Ty Cobb and select his history tab, all the awards are listed but his player history is gone. So my question is do I have to just deal with it being gone or is there some way to import that over too? I like having the player history for all my guys since the beginning and not starting over fresh in 1919. So now I'm debating weather to just start fresh or not. Any help would be great! Thanks

The history SHOULD import. I haven't imported an OOTP11 league since early in beta, but I had no problems then with this issue. The first thing to try is to import it again.

Since these are just simple text files couldn't he manually copy the .txt files from v11 to v12?
In v11 go to the default save location in your documents folder.. C:\Users\Your name\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 11\saved_games\Saved game name.lg\news\txt\players bold parts will be individual to your computer Copy the contents (the .txt files) of the "players" folder in v11 to v12 here.. C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 12\saved_games\Saved game name.lg\news\txt\players Restart OOTP12 and I would think the histories will show up. If for some reasons the folders weren't created on import simply create them and copy the text files into the newly created folders. This is assuming a default installation to the C: drive. Otherwise simply do the same using your custom locations. |

Yes, Thank You Sweed! That worked! I was looking around in the files and just didn't notice it. Your directions helped fix my problem. Thank you so much!

This fix also worked for me, thanks so much for the tip. Looking back on player history is one of the best parts of the game for me.
Why wasn't this fixed in the patch? |

I'm using the pc version and imported with the release version with no "history" issues. If this is something that crept in during one of the patches than a ticket should be submitted. |
