Do injured players ever get well??

On my 65 Dodgers my number 4 starter Johnny Podres was injured on his fourth start of the season. Somehow (cannot remember how) I saw that it was for two months. I put him on the disabled list and called up Bill Singer. Now my team has played over 80 games and yet Podres is still showing INJURED. I simply do not understand.

did you get the message saying his injury got worse. Sometimes when a player is injured their injury wont improve as well as they hoped and hes out longer. I had a 2 month extension to an injury so its quite possible.

The player should get better. If not, please report back as I would log it as a bug.

That could be the reason. The injury system is the same as in the desktop version so I will take a look if I missed a function, that "heals" all injured players after switching injuries off.

That would explain why, when turning off the injuries in a new 2011 Major League start, that Chase Utley, etc. remain injured until they heal. Definitely would like to turn off injuries and have those just "go away".

Ok, I took a look and it works exactly like in OOTP 11. So after disabling injuries, player should not get injured anymore and already injured player should normally heal.

I will log it as feature wish that player will get healed right in the moment when you disable injuries (which makes sense in my opinion).

still injured

Johnny Podres is still injured and the weeks keep going by. The Dodgers have played well over half the season and his 2 month injury is still keeping him on the disabled list. Makes it tough when you don't have another starter on your team or in the minors.

don't know how

sorry, I do not know how to put up screen images from my iphone but he is on the disabled list with the red mark still beside his name and when I select him (Podres) it shows his status is still injured. Would love for him to get well.

No problem. I had no idea until a poster helped me out. Here is the link to my old post that includes a link on how to create a screen capture:

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...inor-bugs.html

Basically, hold the home key and press the power button up top until the screen flashes.

Once you capture a screenshot, plug your iTouch/iPhone into your computer and you should be able to access them via "My Computer" on a Windows platform.

Hope that helps!
