Heavyweight World Tournament Announced
by Dan Rafael March 20, 2027

A monumental tournament is on it's way. Promoters Frank Warren, Yvon Michel, and various promoters are all gathering their fighters to represent their countries in a tournament to prove which country reigns supreme. HBO and Showtime are currently fighting for the rights to show the fights. Currently the US is going to have a one-night tournament to determine who will represent the US in this world tournament, also the UK will have a one fight box-off between Henry Cooper and Lennox Lewis to determine who represents the country.

The winner of this tournament not only will gain bragging rights for their home country, but also they gain a shot at Muhamad Ali who will battle Union Cane in a 10 round tune up fight.

HW Champion Mike Tyson declined to take part in this tournament due to an injury he suffered in training, Jack Johnson who fought Muhammad Ali has not been heard from since the controversial fight last December. The current American HW's taking part of the tournament to fight for the right of representing America is:

Rocky Marciano

:
Vitali Klitchko

:
Donavan Ruddock

:
Lennox Lewis

:
Max Schmelling

Louis Firpo

Harold O' Finnegan

Ricardo Suarez

Simon Adawle

More participants to be announced later

UPDATE: Jack Dempsey just lost to his mandatory Rocky Balboa and suffered a detached left retina. Balboa will now replace Dempsey in the tournament and will face fellow Philly fighter Joe Frazier in what should be a war.

During my time off, I did simulate a match between them and Ali dominated rounds 1-9, Homer then rallied rounds 10-15 and almost kayoed Ali a couple of times. I'm holding off on making that match

LANG INFURIATED BEING LEFT OUT OF WORLD TOURNAMENT

James Lang 53-14-2 (47 KO's) is furious that he was not asked to participate in the heavyweight world tournament. These fools are just frightened I might ruin those two white jokes of HW's named Dempsey and Marciano, I wrecked them already why should I fight them again, quipped the ex-champion.

Lang is also angry that Muhammad Ali is turned down an opportunity to fight Lang again. That fool is frightened that I'm going to beat him so badly that he'll look like a monkey said Lang. Lang also mentions that he and his team are in negoiations for a bout with Crusierweight and Heavyweight fighter Floyd Patterson. He's one guy whose not frightened of fighting the baddest mo fo in the planet!!

Lang in his spare time has become a trainer and he's taken a young ward from Philadelphia. "This kid is going to be famous one day, mark my words." Lang found young MW prospect Bernard Hopkins in prison while visiting a family member there. "He had everything a great boxer needs, I'll be there to refine his style more of course, his first bout will be soon hopefully on an undercard of my fight with Floyd."
