Have the facegens been updated?

Hey guys, I have been looking over the forums and padrefan's mods and stuff but I have not found anything about updated/new facegens for the 2011 season. So basically I am wondering if there have been new facegens made/or updated for the new season.

I believe in the newest update (the one coming today), several hundred have been added/created. Once the new all in one mod comes out, I would imagine most of the league will be done.

As for the Facegens. Padres should be uploading shortly the historical facegen update that does include the 2010,2011 debuts and fixed naming for the historical players.

If you download the one from last year and then copy this new one over it it should give you a pretty substantial update from last years facegen set.

The autoinstaller from the in-game utility doesn't actually install the facegens to the file they need to be in. Look for a new folder named "HistoricalFaceGens" and copy or move the files contained within to the fg_files directory. It looks like you can ignore the bit in the readme about all lower case for the names.

* - I'm using XP, no idea if Vista or 7 are any different, but they should be similar at least

I have a bunch of updated Mariners facegens (included a good one of Michael Pineda, better ones for Smoak, Saunders and Aardsma, and bunch of other prospects).

I don't know how to include it in the all in one. Who do I contact? If anyone is interest, you can PM me and I'd be happy to send it your way, too.

A few minutes ago I added the latest "complete" FaceGen compilation to Add-Ons Central. It's a big download, around 150MB, so it won't be quick.

I'll create a link to it from my mod website as well in the next day or so...

The install tested great on my Mac, but let me know if you have any problems.

+1 on not installing where it should be. I reinstalled twice via the Add-On Central menu and finally just copied and pasted from OOTP 11 folders to 12 and that worked.
