Did you notice a lot of messed up player ratings? Your set looks great....trying to decide if I should use yours w/ the correct contract and other info, or the updated official version that still has some errors in contracts/other info, but rating fixes.

I never actually looked at the ratings, I focused on the other stuff. If the ratings are fixed on the new official set then I will update the contract stuff on that one and put it out for everyone.

My roster set is more exact in terms of money. Things like incentives, vesting years, bonuses, ect are more exact on my set. Its just a matter of whats more important to you, if your team has alot of messed up ratings then use the new one but if your team has some bad contracts use mine.

Once I find out if there are going to be anymore official roster updates i'll decide when I will make a new one.

Yeah I will update the official one once I know most of the rating issues are fixed. It took me over 12 hours to update everything I did so give me a few days.

No problem. Please let me know if there is anything at all wrong with it so I don't make the same mistake on an update.

The sources that BR usually use have bonuses pro-rated into their year-by-year contracts (most of the time, anyway.)

I like to use carlos silva as an example. On baseball reference it says he has a big contract when in reality he is signed to a minor league deal currently. Also on cots site it shows options years, vesting options, bonuses and incentives. Now who knows which one is right, I just choose cots because it offers more details.

Silva is still being paid the last year of his Cubs' contract. BR lists opening day payrolls, usually including guys with major league contracts who were cut by the team before ST ended, but the team still is responsible for their contract.

First he was released before opening day. Then signed with the yankees after opening day. True the cubs are paying some of his contract right now, which I have put into my rosters. But on the ootp rosters silva is on the yankees with the big contract and not a minor league deal.

Is there anyway you could upload your parks factor file and instruct where to place it to make the parks realistic?

Once I finish updating the current roster set you can copy it from that download, unless you have a slow internet connection and can't download the bigger roster set.

I could do that and would appreciate it. Could you just point out which file it is? I am not too familiar with this stuff.

While I have never done that before I believe the file is park.dat. You should just have to copy and paste it into your other save.

Other than the parks.dat file. Can I use like the manager.dat file to update the managers contracts in my game with the Markus update from yesterday. I have a game all set up (logos, jerseys, feeder leagues, etc) so I don't want to have to go through all that again.
