- Added new function above the league totals section (league setup) to import league totals from a selected year

How is this different from the way the stats are affected by the settings import feature in the Strategy screen of the League Setup tab?

It only imports the league totals, no other settings/rules. No other difference.

I had the pre-release build and went to update with todays 12.0.3 build and am now getting the following error:

"The loading of the database has failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from an old version"

This was a fresh OOTP 12 league I started Monday night.

Here is the process I followed today:

-Removed license
-Uninstalled OOTP12 12.0.1
-Downloaded 12.0.3 from first post in this thread
-Installed .exe
-Re-licensed (my license code was auto-populated in the license field)
-Clicked 'Continue Game'
-Got error message

What kind of a league? Maybe this league was damaged because one of the early bugs that got fixed. I suggest you start a new league.

Custom fictional league with all of the international leagues both Major and WL. Full minor league system. 30 team MLB.

I didn't really have much invested in this league so starting fresh isn't a big deal. Any thoughts?

I would try saving it as a template and starting a new league from that template.

Only if there were massive problems, which is not the case in my opinion. We will however release another updated set with the next patch.

Proj. Final balance

I can't figure out why the Current Season "PROJ. FINAL BALANCE" in the screenshot in the newsletter is - 19,608,276.

What does that number mean and how is it calculated? The rest of the financials screen seems clearer, but that's just from a screenshot. I've not bought the game yet.

If I have the pre-order v12.01 and have downloaded the MLB quickstart fix, am I missing anything else (apart from the skin change)?

I've used 'check for updates' in the game which takes me to a blank page, and if I don't need to re-download the whole game for anything, I won't .

To get the bug fixes, you'll need to DL either the full install or the patch in the OP.

Doh! Scanned the first post and didn't spot the PC Patch links. Thanks.

Just so you know old buddy. On the Home page clicking on the logo to buy v12 is linked to v11 setup.exe

Thanks again for your continued work Markus!

Sorry but contracts being completely wrong, as in a guy IRL with a minor league deal having a 27,000,000 deal, not a massive problem?

Love OOTP and have for years but it seems clear iOOTP caused the team to take their eyes off the ball for OOTP12 as its the buggiest release with some huge roster errors in years.

The DB conversion process still has a glitch, I believe.

It takes 10 seconds to correct this. It is not a massive problem.

Markus,

I just want to take a minute to thank you for reading these posts and taking such fast action. I was stunned when I saw that you had corrected the Mets roster and fixed Jose Reyes' contract info. I almost feel like a jerk for ever complaining. You guys are simply amazing! I have become so spoiled and your team continues to provide excellence.

Thanks again
