Is it just me, or is 1968 Orioles Palmer missing from Lahman db?
I'm currently loading up the 1968 season ( from the '5 seasons' download) and couldn't find him, then I checked Lahman & couldn't find him there either. Here's hope that I'm wrong.

Jim Palmer didn't play in the majors in 1968. (Was he injured that year?)
Here are his stats: http://www.baseball-reference.com/p/palmeji01.shtml To get him into the game you will have to import him from the Edit Free Agency screen. Click on Import player from the database, type in the path to the database, and type in the year you want him from (I suggest 1967 unless you wait until 1969 to import him with that years data..) and type in his Lahman ID (I think its palmeji01, but I could be wrong, look this up in master.csv). Then he'll be added to the free agency pool and you can sign him to the Orioles. Hope this helps. Edit - Post 1999. (One more for a plaque) ![]() [ March 30, 2002: Message edited by: ScottVib ]
|

After further review, I guess he didn't play in '68! I won't add him (to keep it real).
Thanks! I wasn't losin' it!
