Activation Issues?? - Page 4

Mine worked on the 2nd try, I look at it this way, we got the game for 10 bucks cheaper then the normal price so if we have a few hiccups at the start of the release that is ok with me, all the little bugs will work themselves out and we got an awesome game for 30 bucks.

I know it has to be frustrating to the people that still can't get it activated but when you do you won't be disappointed, the game is the best yet by far.

In the e-mail I got there are 4 server links for pc. I have been trying to download the game, but all I have been able to do is click on these server links and get a blank screen.

Did you never go to bed?! Isn't it after 3 AM there?

For those of you who are still having activation issues please go here: activation issues. So far, ALL activation issues have been resolved by following what's in that KB article. If not, then I can help you if you submit a support ticket.

I was unable to activate on a Windows7 machine until I ran the EXE as administrator - then it worked.

6th try was the charm for me. I used cut and past method. Just kept clicking Activate key until it finally worked.

Apparently, in Windows 7, you must not only install the game from the Admin account, but it must be run from there, or be "run as" Admin from a non-Admin account. When I do this, it has now worked multiple times, I just have to remember to do Run As, or run from the Admin account(not great for security).
