So... Is It Always Like This?

I came to OOTP in '11, so this is my first upgrade and league import. (Haven't tried my import yet, but I've got a Mac, so it sounds like I might be in some trouble.)

So I'm just wondering: is this how every upgrade goes?

That is, are there usually so many significant bug reports?

And, are the rosters usually this problematic? Or are people just annoyed because OOTP12 promised so much (roster-wise) and took so long (generally)?

No complaints from me, by the way. (... Yet.)

Alot of new people around right now that think things are bugs that are not. 9 times out of 10 it's user error during these first couple of hours.

Also not knowing the rosters arn't current rosters but a few months ago.

Example: Red Sox Rotation thread where the guy was complaining about Lackey being rated higher that Beckett and Bucholz. At the start of the year you could of made this arguement.

Yes, there are ALWAYS significant bug reports, though there are not always significant bugs.

And there are ALWAYS lots of complaints about the roster....

One thing to keep in mind is that happy people are playing and not posting on the boards as much as the people who are peeved about something, whether justifiably or not.

Yeah, I was going to put this caveat into my OP but forgot. Makes total sense.
