Thanks I got the file....How do I manually install this thing? I tried using the add-on central by putting the file in the addons/download folder but it didn't show up - I think it may be because Padre's site is down?

I downloaded this today and for whatever reason I can no longer play the game. It just keeps crashing if I click a players name. Any advise?

I am a long time fan of OOTP who,because of work and life, had not bought a new version since 8. Time restraints and the fact I loved my career I had going was enough to suffice. However, I just bought OOTP11 thanks to the reduced price and installed HFP All-in-One with facegen and I had to post, HOLY CRAP! What an amazing job they did. I am so excited I still haven't even set up my "world" yet, I'm just exploring and checking out the pics. Kudos to you

Love this mod but had to fix my computer and re install OOTP. Now when downloading the mod from the in game add ons it gets to 99% and then says it can't complete it.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Found the solution to my issue in Tech Support, it had nothing to do with the mod, it was a damaged table on my side.

All I'll say is that the mod is great, thank you folks for putting in the time and effort to make it happen.

The OOTP11 version will work with 2012 and most of the included mods have updates at Padres' site.

I can't get Padres site to show up in OOTP 12. I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong, but I put the server name in, hit save, and nothing happens.

It's a bit frustrating, because the generic logos are a little offputting.

Don't worry about putting the server name in. Just go to Add-Ons Central and click "Reload Add-Ons List"

You should now see the files hosted on my site. I just tested it and it works for me.

Sorry! I contacted Jazzrack who owns the server where my files reside, but I'm not sure there is much he can do. Just a lot of folks slamming his server today... All I can do is ask folks to be patient.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have OOTP12. I went to addon central and have it installed. I started the game and hit new major league game. As the game is loading up i see where it says it is loading logos yet when I start the game all the logos and faces are still the generic ones. I went to the link above and downloaded the file manually. I installed it in the data/addons/download folder. Restarted another new major league game. Same issue. /shrug

After d/l the file (or copy/paste into the Downloads folder), you also must go back and install the files from Add-Ons Central. You may have done this but I didn't see you mention it in your post.

I'm pretty happy with the MLB quickstart...however one thing that it is lacking is a complete list of history/info.

For instance, non of the 15 k, 3 hr games etc. are listed and some other random stuff like 2009-2010 attendance for MLB teams, historical managers (only current seem listed), team draft history, etc.

Does/will this quickstart have those sorts of things in it? Thanks so much for the info!

I'd like to start a game with major league rosters for 2011 but the proper logos, stadiums, fagens, etc. that this mod has... Am I able to combine the ML rosters in the game with this mod to make that work? Or do I have to wait for the PadresFan update for OOTP 12 he had mentioned?
