I'm also annoyed by injuries. Especially that they usually seem to happen to the best players and in the second half of the season.
I am currently playing a new game and I have re-enabled injuries. As happened to others losing your two best pitchers and 3/4 of your infield within a month sounds a bit ridiculous. Especially when you look at the list of players on the disabled list and it's only 4* and 5* players. We are not talking about 1-2 weeks absence but 5 weeks to 7 months. It certainly makes you go hmmm... Now I'm onto another year and had no injuries up to the 3rd week of July. And there you go. The **** hits the fan. |

I've had seasons where 4 or 5 of my best players had long-term injuries, and other seasons with no significant injuries at all. I think those are just the breaks of the game. Regarding injuries happening to 4 and 5 star players, that actually makes sense, because presumably those players get the most playing time. Those 4 and 5 star players are in the lineup every day, while the 2 and 3 star players are more likely to be bench players and platoon hitters that get less game action and so are less likely to get injured.
