In a general sense how do online leagues work?
I may be interested in joining one but was curious about how they work in general (sorry if this isn't the right place to post).
I know leagues come in all styles etc stuff, but in general i was curious how they work IE do you actually manage the games against each other, stuff like that I guess. |

You make all your roster moves just like you would in a solo league. Set line-ups, depth charts, DL, waivers, etc etc etc.
You "export" your team. The Commish imports the team exports, runs the sim, then uploads a new file. You do an in-game update. Lather, rinse, repeat. You don't manage games, head to head is not possible with OOTP. |

ok, I get that.
Generally how fast do leagues move? 1 day in real life = 1 day in game ? (I know there will be variations between leagues, just wasn't sure what kind of time commitment there is) How does the offseason work if everyone sends the stuff to the commissioner? Wouldn't it be possible for 2 teams to try and sign the same guy? |

FA is done within game and yes multiple teams will probably bid on a player who will make his choice through money, team options on who he will sign with. |

Time commitment is also up to you. Some owners sit for hours pouring over stats, some spend minutes each sim day, just doing the in game update, making necessary changes, then exporting. You can commit hours or minutes a day, that part is entirely up to you. |
