George Kirby needs a nickname
I don't know how many of you have been following The Parallel History of Baseball (Take Three). In fact, I highly recommend checking it out:
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ake-three.html The league is currently in the 1922 season. There is a great power hitter for the Cubs in the early 1920s named George Kirby and he is setting records in the new "live-ball" era. In fact, he mashed 60 homers in 1921 (.333/.583/.775, 60 HR, 171 RBI, 170 runs scored, and 263 (!) walks). He has a World Series championship (1920) and is undoubtedly one of the more popular players in this league. But, one thing he does not have is a nickname. I think it is about time to have one and I have asked mjj55409, who is running this dynasty, if we could hold it to a vote. |
