Longest Hitting Streak

Whats the longest hitting streak u have had in any game that u play or sim?

Wee Willie Keeler, LF, Chicago White Sox 53 games 6/5/1895 - 8/6/1895

In my ABF longest is 29 not worth mentioning who it is.

My fictional National Baseball League that I play. His name is John Tofts RF for the Boston Gents of the Eastern League. He's a nice player much like Ichiro in that he is high OBP (.400), high Avg (.325) hitting about 8 to 9 Hr's a year.

Cool thing is that he is from South Hadley, MA so Ted Kennedy Field was probably rocking a little extra with each AB until he got a hit.

Nap Lajoie has an active streak of 32 games in my current league. Ginger Beaumont is at 28 games and still alive, too.

I remember I had one league where Ty Cobb was unconscious and nearly hit .500 on the season (ended at .479 or something equally silly) and he had two 40+ streaks in the same year.

Had a guy in my fictional league a few versions back who made it to 60...it was really a fluke as the guy was not the greatest hitter prior to or after that season. In fact, if I recall, he was traded at the end of the season and only played a couple of more years at the big league level before ending up in the minors...and he wasn't even that old or anything.

Imagine that storyline for the history books.

Interested in trading Tom Howe? I need a good number 2 hitter!

I think I can translate that.

The current league is in 1902. I can't quite remember the year that Ty went crazy but I think it was 1910 or 1911.

I'm bumping this old thread because this is the longest hitting streak I've seen since I started playing OOTP.

Was going through my league's HOF inductees...74 games. Guy hit .379 that year. Ended up with a career average of .346 and 3627 hits. Had 5 seasons over .370.

This is a fictional league where I used MLB standard as my baseline.

Is there anyway you can sort by streaks somewhere in league history?
