That's my point, you really have no stake in it at all so you really shouldn't have strong feelings about how OOTP12 is released. I've no problem you debating features and stuff like that. I just don't understand how OOTP12, or how it's release happens or doesn't happen, affects you in even the tiniest of ways. If I'm wrong feel free to correct me, that's just how I'm seeing it though.

So I should been seen and not heard (sorry to repeat), like I've stated before part of why I will not be purchasing 12 is down to how they have handled 12. I think all my posts have been clear and go with the original post that it's strange for them to post everything on facebook etc but can't seem to find the home of OOTP (this forum, which silvam seems to have managed).

It would have taken what 10 seconds ? 30 seconds tops to post the same announcement on here wouldn't it ?

Forget it. I can't argue with someone who constantly shifts stories. This community has become such a huge group of entitled children that it's really detracting far more from my enjoyment of OOTP than anything having to do with the release date.

Also, I don't know for sure who runs the Facebook page, but it doesn't appear to actually be Marcus (in a previous update, they said they'd only been on the staff since January, I believe) - hence the difference between what's posted there and what's posted here. I'm just glad beta testing has started, and hopefully it goes smoothly enough that we can get the game ahead of the June 20th release date.

Whew... good thing you saved yourself there and added something of relevance after you posted otherwise you'd have been in danger of being as childish as you accused me of. Don't worry though, I understand. when you have that unwarranted feeling of moral superiority you often forget little things like not becoming the thing your railing against. At least in my defense I'm actually screwed up in the head. What's your excuse?

That's an odd point of view. Beta testing isnt post worthy. Novel idea and one that I totally disagree with.

IMO, Markus needs to direct the new hire (I forget his name) to duplicate anything he posts to facebook here. Otherwise, he's basically leaving anyone without FB out of the information loop.

Many things could be handled better with this release and the hits just keep coming.

Its not the responsibility of the end users to broadcast company news. That falls to the guy in charge of media, etc. Its disrespectful to the game users as a whole to not post such news on the official boards of the game those people are supporting.

Let's just get rid of the forums then and use FB exclusively.
