We now have an opening in the Chicago Black Sox. Rebuilding opportunity for a once proud franchise. Some great pieces in place to build around or to use as trade chips.

i looked through this thread for the first time since i joined the league. Boy my California Crusaders are so much different than the Crusaders description that originally got me to join the league. Been a great 5 seasons for the boys from Cali.

If you are interested in taking over a really good team, this opening is for you! Last years JL Atlantic division winner, and two time Landis Memorial Series winners, the Baltimore Monarchs are now available.

Baltimore was 98-64 in the 2000 MBBA season, winning the division by 19 games only to bow out of the playoffs early.

They are star studded:

It all starts with Larry Lasalle, currently the reigning 1999 and 2000 Steve Nebraska (Cy Young) Award for the Johnson League.

First baseman Sirius "Padfoot" Black posted career highs of 49 HR and 137 RBI last season.

The Monarchs feature arguably the best outfield in all of the MBBA. Left to right, Daniel Labrie (.317, 22, 89), Brett Caves (.287, 43, 123), and veteran Mike "OBP Jesus" Clarke (.302, 24, 63).

Perennially a powerhouse, the Des Moines Kernels are now available for an active GM who wishes to join our active, "writing" league.

The Kernels are currently just 3 games back in the Frick League Midwest. They feature several high profile players, led by:

SP Eddie Harris
