Add game sounds that would increase the enjoyment

Just a guess but there might be a memory limitation for the current generation of devices to add sound. I noticed alot of the stats are missing for that reason.

Even better would be a dull 'thud' for a catch, a 'crack' for a hit, and a 'WHACK!' For a home run. it would make the rather dull text based play-by-play a whole lot more dynamic!

iPod app connectivity would be great too. That way you can play a custom playlist in the background while you're playing the game.

I do know AI routines supposedly take up a good portion of RAM in any game that requires it... Perhaps that's the reason why?

As far as I know you can create the custom playlist on the iPod then start playing the game. The music will continue to play. I could be wrong but don't think so.
